Tooro is mourning the death of their beloved king Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru who succumbed to dead cancer at just the age of 34 years.
He died from the United States of America (USA) and his body was transported to Uganda a few days ago to be buried.
When King Oyo was announced dead on social media, there was so much confusion and speculations among Ugandans.

The biggest debate was about the person that will be a successor because he didn’t announce a relationship while he was still alive and not even a child was talked about in his life.
But in his death announcement, the prime minister of Tooro Kingdom revealed that the Omukama left a young son behind and he will be introduced to the world at the right stage and age.

Renown journalist Andrew Mwenda also made a post announcing that the chosen committee of 21 people had chosen the cousin of Oyo to become a king and they were going to announce it after the burial.
According to the chief clan lead of the Babiito Omusuuga Charles, there will be no voting of the king. He said that the kingdom has always followed the traditions and the family inherentance and it’s not going to be different.
They are coming to the final days of morning Omukama Oyo and the new king will be announced sooner.
