Over 6 Percent Of Ugandan Adults Live With HIV, Details

Uganda as one of the African developing countries, there is so much that goes on and it’s always hard for people to keep track.

In the 80’s and 90’s most Ugandans lost their lives due to HIV/AIDs. Most young children were left orphaned as those days there was no medication at all.

But as time went by, there was research done and development in that HIV/AIDs could no longer kill people with the medication that was brought.

Although the medication for healing the disease hasn’t been fully developed, some of the young people are still taking the disease lightly.

According to the minister of communication and technology Hon Baryomunsi, over 6 percent of Ugandan adults are living with HIV.

The new cases are developing day by day and it is becoming worse among the young people who have forgotten protection.

“Results show that an estimated 5.9 percent of Uganda adults aged 15 and older are living with HIV, representing approximately 1.5 million people,” Baryomunsi revealed.

It should be noted that there are so many ways the young people can prevent themselves from HIV.

Most of them don’t want to take the measures even when they are reminded about the dangers and the risk of their lives.
