Events promoter Norbert Twizire, aka Nobat Events is currently locked up in Luzira prison after he was arrested and paraded in court.
This is one of the many times he has gone to prison but this time around the offences look more serious than the other times.
Nobat Events has always presented himself as a member of the ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM).
She even contested multiple times lost and won some. However at this moment he is invoked in the promoters association and that’s why he is in problems.
According to the police report, Nobat was arrested allegations surrounding the mismanagement of funds belonging to the Kampala and Beyond United Music Promoters SACCO that were given to them by President Museveni.
He will be brought back to court on 23rd October and his fans are told to wait for him to hear the case.
Nobat has always said that he is not a corrupt person and all the allegations made about him are false.
The promoters association has always had problems with money especially on who will receive what amount.
The government has always supported promoters but the money is always having issues and complaints of it disappearing.
