National Unity Platform (NUP) first son Solomon Kampala Kyagulanyi has revealed reasons why him and the family decided to ran away from Uganda.
For him he left Uganda years ago to go and further his education in America. He was followed by his sister but the two younger children and the father actually stayed.
Bobi Wine joined active politics as a member of parliament and after one term he created his own political party and contested as a President.
Unfortunately he lost but blamed it on vote rigging and unfairness during the campaigns and decided to run for another presidential election.
According to Solomon, the father is always meaning well for the country but his life and the one for his family matters too.
He said that the online threats he receives from Gen Muhoozi triggered him to run out of the country to America.

Solomon explained saying he doesn’t think his father would still be alive if he had stayed in Uganda and they are happy they are safe but unhappy that they ain’t home yet.
“People who have always asked me if we ran away or not I am here to answer you. It’s yes and no for various reasons. We ran away because of the threat of our lives and on the other hand we were just looking for what is better for us,”
