The king of Tooro, Omukama Oyo Nyimba will be laid to rest tomorrow at the royal tombs with the help of the chief priest and the incoming king.
Unfortunately there has been so much drama surrounding the succession and the one that was chosen was immediately rejected by the royals.
According to Princess Komuntale and the cousins of King Oyo, he left a will behind and it was very clear that his son should succeed him and if he is not willing he would want the cousins to take over and lead the people.
But when selecting the new king, the names that appeared in the will were not suggested to even get closer to the succession.
President Museveni said that he is going to have a meeting with the family and will make sure that all goes as planned and the deceased gets justice.
At the moment, the new king hasn’t been announced and the meetings that are being held are so private in that no one predicts what is about to come.
King Oyo Leaves Behind A Prince
King Oyo is said to have left a son behind but they are still hiding his identity and no one actually knows anything about him.
