Mukono municipality member of parliament Hon Betty Nambooze is tasking people involved in Ssegirinya’s issues with the DNA of the children to show the public the real fathers of the rejected children.
She said that Hon Ssegirinya died as a Muslim man and in his religion DNA is not allowed. She wonders who went ahead to take the DNA of the children without proper consultation.
The late Kawempe North member of parliament left nine children. On the day of his burial his last born was showed to the public and it was surprising because he was just months old.
DNA Proves Late Hon Ssegirinya’s 5 Out Of 9 Known Children Are Not His
He didn’t leave the will behind something that even confused family members when it came to sharing property and looking for financial means to look after all the nine children.
The family came to an agreement of conducting DNA on the children and unfortunately 5 out of nine children were not his.
There has been an on going debate on wether the DNA is true and if it is why it was done after the death of Ssegirinya yet they had time to do it when he was still alive.
“If you claim the children are not of the late Ssegirinya, then you must tell us who their father is. I urge those responsible for Ssegirinya’s affairs to handle them in accordance with his religious beliefs,” – Hon. Nambooze
