The mobilised of National Unity Platform (NUP) and the elder brother to the president of the political past Chairman Fred Nyanzi has asked his son Churchill Nyanzi to resign from his leadership role as the Guild President of Makerere University.
This happened after he took a photo with President Museveni and it got posted on social media for people to see.
Supporters of NUP have been criticising Chairman Nyanzi and his family calling them traitors and liars.
According to Nyanzi, he didn’t know that his son was taking photos with the president. He said that he is embarrassed and shocked like any other Ugandans who saw it.
He said that if he can’t apologise it would be better for him to resign and focus on his books like the other children who are at camps.
