Umar Muwonge, popularly known as Seeka Umar, a former Qur’an reader in Nansana, has been brought before Magistrate Alice Komuhangi Khaukha and charged with defiling a child.
The magistrate stated that, based on the evidence presented by the prosecution, there was no doubt that Seeka Umar touched the child’s private parts with the intention of having sexual intercourse with the child. He is now awaiting sentencing.
Sheikh Umar became famous when he started showing off how much money he has and what he usually spends his money in.
He even at one point said that he is very powerful and doesn’t mind about what other people say or do around him.
Umar identified himself as a healer who would even go beyond to solve financial problems of people especially those that come around him.

Unfortunately it don’t end very well for him as he was later accused of defiling a young girl that had come to him to seek for help.
He has actually been in prison for more than a year and he is about to officially be sentenced to serve for this case.
