Tooro Kingdom is again in the news with scandals after the chief priest Omusuuga Charles Kamurasi reported that the palace keys are missing.
This happened after the burial of the late king Omukama Oyo that was full of misunderstandings between family members on who will take over him.
Before the burial there was a meeting that was held and that selected Edward Kijjanangoma as the next Omukama of Tooro.
However the Queen Mother Best Kemigisha revealed that the son had a will and he left behind the heir that is going to take over him something the clan members claimed that it is not true the child wasn’t reported to them.
Ever since then there has been so many scuffles and at the moment the Omusuuga claims that they have a new king but the royal family members say otherwise.
King Oyo Leaves Behind A Prince
According to the Omusuuga the latest news is that the palace Keys are missing but they are on the mission to find them and continue with the rituals.
At the moment they are continuing to fight the legal cases put against them and they are waiting for the right time to put the king.
“Tooro Kingdom palace keys missing, Omusuga Charles Kamurasi told the Orukurato on Tuesday, insisting that Tooro has a new king despite legal challenges. He vowed to follow tradition and Ugandan law.,”
