Why The Public Will Not Be Allowed At The Royal Tombs During King Oyo’s Burial

The public has been briefed early and told that they will be unable to access the royal tombs during the burial of the fallen Omukama of Tooro King Oyo.

The burial will take place on Saturday and so many people are actually expected to show up for the burial but not everyone will participate.

According to the traditions, a new king is the one supposed to hurry the fallen king. Unfortunately the family is now the crossroads with the selection of the new king as they don’t support the new one.

The clan elders the Babiito revealed that people are going to stop at the church and they will let the clan leaders continue with the rest.

On Saturday, the king’s body will be moved from Karuziika Palace to St John’s Cathedral, where a 3-hour send-off prayer service will be held from 9 am. Basaliza said mourners attending the service will be required to take their seats by 7 am.

The mother and sister of King Oyo are so disappointed saying that they thought the late’s will was being to be honoured.
